Schroth is a physiotherapeutic method for treating Scoliosis and Hyperkyphosis. Strongly supported by research, this modality improves postural control in three dimensions and has tremendous benefits for global posture and overall health. We work together to reach your goals. Goals may include avoiding surgery, slowing or stopping curve progression, or improved function in sport and life. We also work with your team of physicians, surgeons, orthotist (brace professionals) and other healthcare providers to help you through the vicious cycle and uncertainty of curve progression.
Adolescents who are newly diagnosised may need to be closely monitored, do regular exercise, wear a brace or have surgery. Adults who are newly diagnosed or have lived with scoliosis or hyperkyphosis since they were young will benefit from pain relief and avoid age related progression. All curves small or large can benefit from an individualized Schroth program learned from our qualified physiotherapist. We are here to support you through your journey.
Please note our Schroth treatments follow closely with models used in research. We create individualized treatment plans that are not constrained by the limits of insurance companies or corporate health care.

Evidence shows Schroth PSSE is beneficial before and after surgery, when surgery is not indicated or refused, during brace wearing and when not wearing a brace.
